2Server logs

Every time this website is accessed, our web server stores the request in a log file. We do not use cookies, tracking or analytics tools for visitors.

Data stored
IP address, date and time, requested address, status code and amount of data transferred, browser and operating system (user agent), language setting and, if your browser sends it, the previously visited page (referrer).
Purpose
Secure and reliable operation of the website, detecting and preventing attacks, error analysis.
Legal basis
Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure operation of this website.
Retention
14 days, after which the logs are deleted automatically. Longer only while we investigate a specific security incident, and only until it is closed.
Hosting
Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The server is located in Nuremberg. Hetzner processes the data on our behalf under Art. 28 GDPR.
Disclosure
None. We analyse the logs ourselves.

3Project inquiry

When you contact us through the inquiry form, we process your information to answer your inquiry. We do not use an external form service.

Data
Topic, your description of the project, email address and, optionally, name and organisation.
How it works
Your information is transmitted in encrypted form to our mailbox and handled there. The mailbox is hosted on a mail server in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH). The inquiry is not stored on the website itself.
Legal basis
Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry aims at a contract. Otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest being to answer your message.
Required fields
Topic, description and email address. Without them we cannot reply. Everything else is optional.
Abuse protection
When you submit the form, we keep your IP address in memory for at most one hour to limit submissions to five per hour. It is not stored permanently for this purpose.
Retention
We delete your inquiry once it is settled, at the latest six months after our last contact. If it leads to a contract, we keep the correspondence for the statutory periods (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO).

4Fonts

This website uses the fonts Archivo and JetBrains Mono. Both are stored on our own server and loaded from there. No connection to Google Fonts or any other third party is made.

None. Fonts, scripts, images and stylesheets are served exclusively from madasolis.de.
Cookies
None. This website does not set any cookies.

5Your rights

You have the following rights towards us. An informal message to kontakt@madasolis.de is enough.

Access
Which data we process about you, for what purpose and for how long (Art. 15 GDPR).
Rectification
Have incorrect or incomplete data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR).
Erasure
Have your data deleted unless a statutory retention obligation applies (Art. 17 GDPR).
Restriction
Have processing suspended, for example while accuracy is being checked (Art. 18 GDPR).
Data portability
Receive your data in a common, machine-readable format (Art. 20 GDPR).
Objection
Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
